No previous Italian experience required! This course introduces foundational grammar, essential vocabulary, and practical phrases for everyday communication. You will learn to introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, order food, give directions, and describe your daily routines.

Intermediate 1
6-week course
This course strengthens students' communication skills through a review of the Passato prossimo, an introduction to the Imperfetto, and practice using the two past tenses. Students also learn the Futuro semplice and direct object pronouns while building confidence in conversation and narration about past, present, and future events.

Avanzato - Italiano d'autore
6-week course
Questo corso approfondisce la lingua e la cultura italiana attraverso la lettura del romanzo Il piccolo hotel dei miracoli. Gli studenti rafforzeranno l'uso del congiuntivo, del periodo ipotetico, del discorso indiretto e dei registri formale e informale. Il corso svilupperà inoltre il lessico e le abilità di comprensione, conversazione e produzione scritta, favorendo una maggiore sicurezza nell'esprimere opinioni e discutere temi culturali e letterari.
